Loretto Junior School, affectionately known as the 'Nippers' is a small, friendly school and we see ourselves as a large extended family.
The Junior School currently has about 200 boys and girls aged 3 to 12 years. It is made up of two parts, the Nursery (3 - 5 years) and Early Years (5 - 7 years), and the Nippers (8 - 12 years). We offer an outstanding day and boarding education to children of mixed ability from a wide range of social backgrounds.

We welcome enquiries and visits throughout the year. Please look at our admissions section for details about applying for a place. This will also give you information on our bursaries and scholarship awards. Parents who would like to visit the Junior School are asked to contact the Junior School PA, Mairi Gillies on T 0131 653 4570, email juniorschool@loretto.com. The enquiry form can be used to request our prospectus pack and other information about the School.
