Big-hearted Loretto pupils raise over £800 for East Lothian Special Needs Playscheme
East Lothian Special Needs Playscheme (ELSNP) is a charity which provides full day playschemes during school holidays for East Lothian children aged 5 -16 years with a wide range of special needs/disabilities. They offer one to one support and a wide range of activities such as swimming, horse riding, bouncy castles, art, bikes and days out. Transport to and from playscheme to ensure it is accessible to everyone and to increase respite for families.
Kirsty Wood of ELSNP spoke to the School about the charity’s work and Nina present her with a cheque for £804 on behalf of Loretto.
The money was raised by a Christmas-themed 'own clothes day' held last term.
