Cameron Henderson

Religious Studies Teacher, Housemaster - Pinkie

Cameron Henderson joined Loretto at the start of the academic year 2020/21. Cameron grew up in South Africa, his family being originally from Fife, and has a wealth of experience in Education across pastoral, academic and co-curricular roles both in the UK and overseas. He taught both Business Studies and Physical Education at the Qatar International School.

He is an experienced Housemaster having worked for many years at a boarding school in Kent, providing leadership and care to a senior boys' House. "Being a housemaster has given me a huge appreciation of how immensely important it is to create a real family environment, where the boys feel nurtured, stimulated and engaged."

Cameron also brings with him a wide range of co-curricular skills having contributed fully to the CCF and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. As an experienced Rugby referee and coach, he has most recently assisted the Qatar National side and the British Army as a referee coach. He is a keen photographer, golfer (social) and musician, playing both drums and guitar.

Cameron and his wife Véronique have two children; Kieran and Annaïs.
