Denise Simpson

Classroom Assistant

In 2007, Denise gained qualifications in NVQ3, in Teaching and Learning in Primary Schools.
Denise enjoyed her time studying so began supporting other Learning Assistants.

 In 2009 Denise completed the  NVQ A1 Assessors course for NVQ3. Which lead onto Denise supporting and passing several candidates.

In 2011 Denise gained the Open University qualification E111, Supporting Learning in Primary Schools. 

In 1991 Denise moved and lived overseas with her husband who had to take up his military post in Germany until 2011, with the exception of 2 years in Holland and Northern Ireland.
During this time Denise focused on bringing her children up, and registering as a child minder.
Denise supported and was a regular volunteer in the British Forces Nurseries and Schools that her boys attended, which led to her gaining employment in several Forces schools supporting children from Early Years up  to Year 6.

Outside school Denise enjoys spending time with her family and friends. 
Denise enjoys swimming, walking, cooking and travelling.

In 2015 Denise was employed at Loretto within the Early Years department.
