Dr Graham Hawley
Dr Hawley, who is 51, was educated at Mill Hill School in London and holds a first class honours degree from Durham University where he was also awarded a Doctorate. After eight years as Assistant Master and Senior Boarding Housemaster at Ardingly College in Sussex, Dr Hawley was appointed Deputy Headmaster of Warwick School in 2004 before moving to Devon in 2008 to take up the post of Headmaster of Kelly College, a co-educational HMC boarding/day school and Foundation of 480 pupils. He is a keen cricketer having represented Middlesex U18s, was Captain of Eton Fives at Mill Hill and played college Rugby Fives, Squash and Real Tennis at Durham. Dr Hawley has participated in scientific research expeditions to Sumatra, Kenya, Kashmir and Bangladesh, and has led school expeditions to the Mediterranean, Iceland and the West Indies. His interests include golf, walking and occasional fly fishing. Dr Hawley is married to Rachel and they have two children, Katherine (16) and Jonathan (15).
