Enthralling STEM lecture delivered by the RAF Presentation Team.

2nd Form (Year 8) pupils attended a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) lecture given by the RAF Education Presentation Team.

The pupils watched a drone take live film of them, they were taught the basic dynamics of flight with demonstrations involving VR goggles, super loud jet engines, sound waves using a Ruben’s tubes and large air blowers to illustrate the Henri Coanda effect.

There were lots of questions from the pupils and the physics of flying was made very real.
