Junior Loretto golfers to the fore at the Radley Putter.

A team of four Loretto Golf Academy junior golfers travelled to Oxfordshire for the Radley Putter. The prestigious 18-hole tournament, held on Radley College’s own 9 hole golf course, was a modified stableford event. The event consisted of both a team competition as well as an individual event.

Two teams represented Loretto Golf Academy – an A team of Euan and Tomas and a B team of Jolie and Rio.

The team travelled to Oxford on the Saturday morning in order to play a practice round in the late afternoon. This allowed the players plenty of time to devise their own plan to play the 9-hole course.

On the Sunday, the weather was a little cold and the wind picked up as the day went on. However, the players coped admirably. The A team claimed 2nd place and the B team earned 4th place. Tomas achieved 3rd place in the individual with 63 points.

Many congratulations to you all.
