Loretto Uniform Exchange.
Our thriving uniform exchange shop currently has a good stock of second hand Senior School uniform including blazers, kilts, jackets, skirts, trousers and jumpers, and a range of sports clothing for all seasons - all at 50% (or less) of new price, and in great condition.
We also welcome any current items of uniforms in good condition and you will receive 50% of the price we sell it for, with the remaining 50% being used to support various projects within the School.
To date, over £42,000 has been raised through the Uniform Exchange, which has enabled many diverse projects to be supported. As an example, in 2016, £8224 was donated to the School for projects such as pipe band kit, dining flatware, purchase of the Michael Mavor Cup, an equipment shed, theatre costumes, music equipment and a repair to the harpsichord!
As of August, we will be making some changes to our services -
• Our new opening hours during school term will be Mondays (7:30am-10:30am and 4pm-7pm) and Thursdays (1pm-3pm), or you can make an appointment to visit the shop by contacting Linda Cessford at firstname.lastname@example.org • Commission payments for items sold will be paid as a credit direct into the fees billing system at the end of each term • A Stock List will be available within the parent portal on the website so you can browse our current stock (which gives sizes, colour and condition of item) • Drop-off locations will be at 1 High Street (Mon-Thurs) and Schoolhouse reception during normal school hours, or by arrangement with the LUE shop.
• A new terms and conditions document and a downloadable form (which must be completed when dropping off items) will also be loaded into a new dedicated area on the parent portal.
The Uniform Exchange relies on a small group of volunteers to make it work. Can you spare a few hours once a month?
If so, we would love to hear from you! Please either email email@example.com or call Linda on 07738 304128 to get more information about what is involved.
