Margarita Campbell

Teacher of Modern Languages

Originally from Barcelona, Margarita gained a degree in English Literature in 1986 from the university there. She set up her own language school in 1994 in Terrassa (near Barcelona) where she taught EFL and German until moving to Edinburgh in 2000.

Margarita has taught languages at IALS (Institute for Applied Language Studies) and, through them, at the Scottish Parliament and the Royal Bank of Scotland. She also worked at Wood MacKenzie, Confluence Scotland, Standard Life and other language schools (Edinburgh Language Centre and Basil Paterson) teaching Spanish.

Next, Margarita taught in two East Lothian secondary schools before joining Loretto in 2009 where she is currently teaching Spanish at the Senior School and French at Y6 and Y7 at the Nippers. She is married and has a young daughter.
