Not by accident nor emergency -Darcy's starring role in hit BBC drama, 'Casualty'.
A budding young actor from Loretto Junior School has landed a role in a top BBC drama set to air in the Summer.
Darcy Montgomery, aged 11, will star in BBC 1's prime time medical drama, 'Casualty' - the longest-running emergency medical drama television series in the world.
Following in the hallowed footsteps of the likes of Kate Winslet, Tom Huddleston, Christopher Eccleston and Martin Freeman, talented Darcy spent a week filming on set in Cardiff. She will appear in the episode to be broadcast on Saturday, 24th June.
Darcy commented, "When I went on set it was very exciting but somewhat strange. Now I was talking to people that had only ever seen on television! Everyone was lovely and welcoming and it was a truly incredible experience that I shall never forget. I loved it all and I would like to thank everyone who has helped me make this happen, especially my parents and teachers at school."
There is no chance of Darcy resting on her laurels as she is currently rehearsing for Loretto Junior School's forthcoming production of 'Grease'!
