Specialist teachers enrich our Pre-School educational provision
Loretto is well known for its emphasis on the development of the whole person – in mind, body, and spirit.
At Pre-School, this is made a reality by the enrichment of children’s learning through the work of specialist teachers.
In Modern Languages and Music, children engage with cultures from all over the world.
In Physical Education, children begin to learn the skills that will equip them for a lifetime of enjoyment in the area of sport, exercise and health.
In addition, children are encouraged to find their own voice through ‘Philosophy for Children’ sessions, where they learn to think for themselves, and can develop an enquiring mind.
Outdoor learning also plays an important role in child development and our spacious, leafy campus, situated next to the local beach and nature reserve, enables us to offer children exceptional outdoor activities, properly supported by highly trained staff. Children also benefit from dedicated time in our Forest School with qualified Forest School Leaders.
Specialist teachers in Modern Languages, Music and Physical Education work together with Mrs. Susan Scott, our dedicated Pre-School teacher, to enrich the children's learning
