Susanna Burn

Girls Sport Coach

After leaving Loretto as a pupil in 2013, Susanna took a year out where she spent five months in the Alps working as a chalet girl and improving her skiing. On her return, Susanna gained her BSc (Hons.) degree in Sport and Recreation Management at the University of Edinburgh where she played competitive lacrosse in both BUCS and Scottish Leagues and was club president in her final year. Susanna has a UKCC Level 1 coaching qualification as well as a level 2 officiating qualification in lacrosse.

Susanna returned to Loretto in September 2018 where she coaches girls sport including hockey, lacrosse, netball, tennis and rounders.

Outside of work, Susanna enjoys playing lacrosse and netball for local teams as well as socialising with friends and spending time back home in Northumberland.

Alongside her sports coaching, Susanna is also Assistant Housemistress of Balcarres House.
