Simon Pengelley

Simon Pengelley spent almost all of his career in education his final post being as Rector of Morrison’s Academy in Crieff. Since retiring he has sat on the boards of the Scottish Council of Independent Schools and the High School of Glasgow.

Simon is engaged in a number of other voluntary activities amongst which are guiding at Innerpeffray Library, Scotland’s oldest free public lending library, working to create a network of public paths in the parish of Madderty, Perthshire, and singing with the Rosenethe Singers of Dunblane.

Eight grandchildren, five of whom live in Edinburgh, are a source of constant delight and also a challenge to his levels of energy.
