Become The Best Golfer You Can Be At Loretto Golf Camps 

Through our week-long residential Summer Camps based outside of Edinburgh, golfers aged 12-18 will develop their confidence, skill, and love for the game – whether they’re aspiring professionals or playing socially. Our structured programmes, supportive coaches, and social environment ensure each golfer progresses throughout their stay.  

There’s no better place for young people to train than Scotland, the birthplace of golf. Our very own world-class indoor facilities and proximity to Scotland’s Golf Coast offer the perfect backdrop for participants to learn, create lifelong memories, and form friendships with like-minded people from around the world.  

Both camps include airport transfers and full board. Attendees can rest in our comfortable boarding houses and enjoy three nutritious, fresh meals a day prepared by Thomas Franks, aiding performance and recovery.  

High Performance Camp: Sunday 4th – Saturday 10th July 2027

For golfers who are highly motivated and play competitively or aspire for a career in the game, with a handicap of 18 and below.  

  • 9 hours of training per day from Loretto’s own PGA professional coaches – spend the morning within our unparalleled facilities before heading to local courses for competitive rounds 
  • Performance testing, goal setting, and tournament preparation and review – golfers will gain essential skills to better develop and manage themselves, ensuring continued growth 
  • Participate in a WAGR three-round tournament, the Loretto Junior Summer Open, across three fantastic courses 
  • A day trip to St Andrews – attend The Open, golf’s original championship, and experience the historic town 
  • Competitions and daily prizes 
  • Evening entertainment including activities, workshops, and social events 

Price is inclusive of airport transfer and full board: £2495

Golf Experience Camp: Sunday 11th – Saturday 17th July 2027

For golfers who play Golf for fun and social reasons, with a maximum handicap of 27.  

  • 9 hours of training and playing per day – spend the morning within our unparalleled facilities receiving coaching from PGA professional coaches before heading to local courses for competitive rounds 
  • Golfers will learn essential skills to better develop and manage themselves, ensuring continued growth 
  • See the world’s finest golfers in action – attend the Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club 
  • Competitions and daily prizes 
  • Evening entertainment including activities, workshops, and social events 

Price is inclusive of airport transfer and full board: £2295

Where do the Loretto Golf Camps take place?

Summer 2027 Golf Camps will be based at Loretto’s campus on the East Lothian Coast, just six miles from Edinburgh. Training sessions will primarily be held in our very own Golf Academy, with opportunities for matchplay at courses on Scotland’s Golf Coast and across the country.  

What do coaching sessions include?

Camp participants will receive expert coaching and individual support from our team of PGA professionals and Golf Coach. In addition, participants benefit from world-class technology, including Trackman, K Vest, and Sam Putt Lab, offering detailed feedback and refinement of their game.  

What is included in the price?

Each camp includes:

  • Daily coaching from PGA professionals 
  • Matchplay opportunities on some of Scotland’s finest courses 
  • Access to Loretto Golf Academy’s indoor facilities and technology 
  • Day trips to experience the best of competitive golf and the history of the game 
  • Airport transfers 
  • Full board accommodation – stay in one of our secure and comfortable boarding houses. Enjoy three fresh, balanced meals prepared by Thomas Franks. 

Can my child stay for both weeks?

Two-week-long stays can be arranged for those who would like to attend both camps. Children who opt for this will receive a complimentary overnight stay and trip to Edinburgh for a day of sightseeing. 

Is there a booking deadline?

Booking will remain open until sellout. Spots are limited – we recommend booking sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment! 

What should my child bring to a Loretto Golf Camp?

Below is a list of suggested packing:
