Loretto Uniform Exchange (Second-hand)
Whether it’s a pre-loved red jacket, a new skort or a kilt, our incredible Uniform Exchange Shop covers all year groups from Pre-school to Upper Sixth.

Appointments are required during holiday periods or outside of normal opening hours, and for fitting and purchase of full uniform, as we generally allow one hour per pupil. During term-time, pupils do not require an appointment for purchases. For everyone else, appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome for drop offs and ad hoc purchases, although you may have to wait a short while if the shop is busy!

We are located in the Estates Yard (Pinkie Campus, Linkfield Road, Musselburgh, EH21 7AF) where the School minibuses are parked. Click here to view the Loretto School Campus map. No parking is permitted within the yard so please park on the main road. Walk through the black metal gates onto Pinkie Drive then turn immediately left and through the archway. You will then see the sign for the shop to your right under the black staircase in the yard.
We sell mainly second-hand current regulation school and sports uniform, for all years in both Junior and Senior School. We also sell second hand sports clothing and equipment (including for golf, hockey, lacrosse, rugby, tennis and cricket).
In addition, we sell a range of popular new uniform items (including sports uniform, red jackets, chapel kit and games bags) and new sports equipment (including hockey and lacrosse sticks, shinguards, gumshields and tennis rackets).
Finally, we stock a range of cushions, lavender hearts and other decorative items upcycled from old Loretto uniform by local partners The Label Lady and Clan Cushion Company. We also sell new cufflinks and tartan scarves in the Loretto tartan, branded Loretto water bottles and OL merchandise, all perfect for gifts. Please pop in to have a look!
If you are leaving or just having a clear out before the holidays, please remember about us! We accept drop offs any time during opening hours without an appointment (or if easier you can hand into Schoolhouse office). We ask that all uniform brought to us is clean and in a saleable condition (we do not wash or repair but do have some spare buttons). For accepted items, you’ll get 50% of the net sale price back, with the other 50% being invested back into school projects. We have raised over £100,000 to date!
Anything which is non-regulation, or in our opinion un-saleable (marked or damaged) or which remains in stock over three years will be recycled where possible, or donated to charity.

If you are bringing clothes into the Uniform Exchange to sell, please fill in the Gift Aid Declaration form below which allows us to boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate. You can either print the form in and drop it off with your clothes or you can email it lueshop@loretto.com.
