Loretto has a long and proud tradition in cricket and boasts excellent playing and training facilities. There are 4 indoor bays complete with bowling machine, 4 outdoor nets and 3 grass squares. Loretto has strong links with Cricket Scotland and with many local clubs to further enhance opportunity for players to develop.

Loretto competes on a highly competitive circuit with regular fixtures against Fettes, George Watsons College, Erskine Stewarts Melville, Merchiston Castle, The Edinburgh Academy, Robert Gordons College, Strathallan and touring sides from the North of England and the prestigious fixture every year versus the MCC.

Cricket is played at School from the age of 8 with our top players making up an elite cricket squad who train throughout the year.

Loretto regularly produces both boys and girls that represent District and National age grade squads.
